CSM - College of San Mateo Planetarium and ISC Room
The Planetarium is attached to Building 36, immediately adjacent to parking lot 7. The ISC (Integrated Science Center), room 36-110, is just across the breezeway from the Planetarium main entrance. See detail campus map at bottom of this page.
From Highway 280 (traveling North or South): Take the Highway 92 exit east toward San Mateo. Exit at West Hillsdale Boulevard, turning left at the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp onto West Hillsdale Boulevard. Proceed up hill through the second and third sets of traffic lights until you come to the first stop sign, where you enter the campus. After the third stop sign, turn into the first parking lot on the right. This is Lot 7. The planetarium is directly ahead of you. From Highway 101 (traveling North or South): Take the Highway 92 exit west toward Half Moon Bay. Exit at West Hillsdale Boulevard, turning right at the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp onto West Hillsdale Boulevard. Proceed up hill through the second and third sets of traffic lights until you come to the first stop sign, where you enter the campus. After the third stop sign, turn into the first parking lot on the right. This is Lot 7. The planetarium is directly ahead of you.
Parking: Visitors are permitted to park free on campus for Society events. Normal parking restrictions in legitimate spaces are not enforced after noon on Friday, or through the weekend. Parking lots 7 & 8 are immediately adjacent to the Science Center, and lots 6, 9, and 10 are within easy walking distance. Obviously, to remain in compliance, visitors should not park in restricted spaces, or in areas not designated for parking. Special Note: ![]() |
